To install Widescreen Patcher, you need to use Windows Version, Not Linux.
Unpack “Sims1widesenpatcher.exe” into the game folder and launch through PortProton in the same prefix in which the game is installed.
After applying Widescreen Patcher settings, close Widescreen Patcher and just start “Sims.exe”.
