You trying to launch the protected Steam game. For Steam games use native Linux Steam client.

Apologies for the annoyance, I thought translate would be suitable. I have attempted to start the game through steam using proton. Without the “Ninja Gaiden Sigma Black Mod” it is able to be run. With the mod it is not running even with the latest version of Proton GE, hence the post. I am trying to use Bottles or PortProton to remedy this. I can provide any amount of information if it will help.

Properties --> Set Launch Options:

Amazing! I didn’t think to look at the comments of the mod!

It is worth noting that this method does not work with the newest version of the mod, but the changes are minimal between the two versions. This should work well enough.
